The writing is some of the best I have ever read... Grabs you and holds you... I spent the last 18 hours reading... unable to stop. Amazing talent! Just amazing!... That being said................I am so confused... trying to follow the story lines... I thought I purchased the complete set only to find there are multiple sets and it seems they are all interconnected and after reading one whole book find it is part of another set, then searching through the 3 complete sets ( or I thought it was) I find halfway through one book is part of another story line... literally a completely different story... now i am searching to find where I am suppose to be going to complete what I was reading... I have spent way to much on these books to be totally lost... apparently some of the books I have already read belong to a different set ... I am just so confused. I just spent $20.00 and Now, if I am going to complete the story lines I have no Idea how much I may have to spend.......Product details

Anyone who has read my reviews before knows that I detest cliffhangers. Serial romances aren’t my thing, but every once in a while a story comes along that intrigues me enough that I’m willing to give it a chance. This is such a story. Also, knowing that she has finished the series was a major contributing factor to me actually reading it in first place.
This series begins with Lily Ross, assistant to a VP who runs roughshod over her and which she privately calls Herr Klaus, is working late on a Friday night for little pay and even less appreciation. Lily is a relatable heroine who is getting by, not sure what she wants, but with a good sense of humor and appealing outlook. She is summoned down to the lobby by Connor, the billionaire hero, who sweeps her up into a hot and heavy affair that takes Lily straight into the fast lane.
The Good
Lily was likeable and it was very easy to get pulled in and I can see why she’d run off with Connor. The obstacles they face were an interesting take on standard billionaire romance fare. The humor and the chemistry between the characters is not an easy thing to write - some have the knack and some don’t. Ms. Thorne has the knack. I enjoyed the secondary characters, especially when they were used to knock some sense into Lily and Connor.
The Bad
They are both and Lily are frustrating but likeable characters. The sex is very hot but because it’s a serial, it can be repetitive and I ended up skimming some of the later love scenes.
The Bottom Line
I was sucked in when the part 1 of the first volume was up for free on , and much like a good drug dealer, Ms. Thorne gave me a taste and then sucked me in. She had me ponying up some serious cash for the opportunity to read the entire series. So, well played Ms. Thorne, well played.
Ms. Thorne, I have to say "Hat's off to you"!!! It's been a little while since I've read such a good book. I was captivated and enthralled by Conner, Lily, Johnny, & Sebastian. I could visually picture each scene, lmao on every funny & hilarious conversation between characters. There were nights when I could not sleep because I had to see what would happen next! I CANNOT WAIT TO READ The Billionaire's Wedding!!!! I am so looking forward to receiving the email to let me know it's out. Can't wait to see what will happen next. Maybe Anh & Johnny will hit it off and more adventures with Sebastian & Javier or maybe throw Scott together with Amy (hint, hint, lol). Anyway, thank you again for such a wonderful read. I loved the 50 Shades of Grey series, and this was definitely a knock-off but I'm not upset about that. I really enjoyed Volume 1, and I thought it set the stage nicely for Volume 2. I especially loved all of the erotic detail (very nicely done). Although the author did a great job of setting the stage, the execution ultimately failed. She did a great job of describing everyone's personality (including the narrator...even over did it a little here with all the mental back and forth, but I get the idea). I was not happy with how Connor and Lily's "separation" happened. I mean, basically the author didn't describe anything about it - except when Lily would get reports from Johnny or Sebastian that all Connor has been doing is drinking himself into oblivion since she left. I was really LESS THAN THRILLED with all of this. I felt that the break-up really did nothing to contribute to the overall story because it didn't even allow you to see all the things that Connor was apparently "struggling" with the entire time. He didn't pick up the phone once, and I felt like at least a little back and forth would have contributed to the story and maybe not had Connor look like a gigantic a-hole. Halfway through/toward the end of Volume 2, you see a drastic change of character for Connor's father which did not match up AT ALL with his past behavior. All of a sudden you're expected to believe he's had some epiphany and now has love for his son, whom he NEVER cared for even when he was a child, according to the author. I also didn't like the ending generally, and I really wanted to. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
